Before Sanele Sibisi was admitted as an Advocate in December 2020, he practised as an attorney until May 2015. As a member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates, he has been practising since February 2021. He is a member in good standing of the Pitje Chambers Transformation Initiative, a group of Advocates practising from Pitje Chambers.
Sanele is an experienced legal advisor and legal officer. He has worked in public and private institutions where he gained experience in arbitration, legal writing, civil litigation, corporate governance, and appeals. He earned an LLB degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2012 and a master’s degree in Fraud Risk Management from the University of Pretoria (UP) in 2018. He also holds a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) and a Certificate in Governance, Risk, and Compliance from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).
Aside from arbitration, Sanele’s specialisation focuses on procurement and insurance. His practice areas include, but are not limited to, tax law, civil law, commercial law, and constitutional & administrative law.
