Biography
Gerhard has a civil litigation practice with an emphasis on personal injury work. He has a particular interest in brain injury matters, which includes the determination of causes of brain injury and its sequelae, as well as the quantification of these claims.
Gerhard had been exposed to personal injury work since doing his articles of clerkship with Bowens Attorneys (1984-1985). Thereafter he practiced as an attorney for 2 years at Harvey Nossel & Co Attorneys, where he became a partner, before joining the Johannesburg Bar. He currently participates in numerous trials for plaintiffs countrywide for cerebral palsy children after birth complications.
